Climbing Experience from Past Customer, Howard McKenna

Climbing Mount Kinabalu has always been in the back of my mind. So when my pals offered to go on a mount kinabalu expedition, I went for it without doubt.

Upon doing research on climbing packages, we found Mount KK Booking Centre through Google. Our Sales Consultant David helped us with all the arrangements just days upon our first enquiry, how convenient! We were given our itinerary included with a packing list, so all we had to do was look forward to the day we begin the hike, which was 4 in months’ time. Just enough time to train and amp up our fitness levels.

The day came and we faced Mt.Kinabalu in the distance, slowly but surely making our way through the trails with our guide Tiko whom was constantly by our side motivating us and sharing folklore and stories of Borneo to distract us from fatigue. Nonetheless, we did stop a few times just to take it all in, the sights, sounds and the sore legs. But we did it, we got to Low’s Peak and reached safely back to Timpohon Gate all in one piece and a handful of memories.

The sunrise on Low’s Peak was simply beauty beyond words. We were lucky enough to have hiked during good weather. It was indeed an unforgettable experience and we are thankful for Mount KK Booking Centre for the smooth arrangements, especially to David and Tiko. Mount KK Booking Centre deserves all of my recommendations to anyone who wishes to climb Mount Kinabalu.

Best regards,
Howard McKenna

“Thankfully Wilson has explained all necessary details to me” – by Audrey Chin

The climb to Mount Kinabalu is one of the most rewarding thing a person can do in their lifetime. I am travel blog writer and have chosen to write about the experience. I have very limited knowledge when it comes to navigating mountains and thankfully Wilson has explained all necessary details to me.

We were able to have a reliable mountain guide who went with us all the way up. Although the trek was unexpectedly hard, the difficulties were considerably minimized because I was able to bring the proper gear and tools that would help me survive the long climb.

Mount KK Booking Centre supplied us with the details that we need, because of that we were able to pack correct items. I was able to bring a reliable flash light and was able to wear the proper attire unlike some of the other travellers who did not make use of the assistance of their tour guide.

After the long climb, we were able to get on top of the mountain, the clouds were truly spectacular. We took some time to have our jump shots and spent an hour admiring the view.

After that we came down and despite the gruelling process that we had to undergo again we did not have to worry about our transportation.

The tour operator’s fleet was already there to fetch us as promised. Everything went smother than expected.

Best regards,
Audrey Chin

“My Climbing Experience of Mount Kinabalu – A Vivid Memoir.” – by Jay

This is Jay Clarkson with my wife Melissa Clarkson giving you first hand thoughts of my Mount Kinabalu climbing experience on 26th April 2014. First off, Melissa and I would like to give a warm appreciation and many thanks to the team for providing a venture worth remembering for a lifetime. Secondly, our trip to Mt. Kinabalu was pretty much unexpected but fortunately it did make our time enjoyable. Prior climbing, Mount KK Booking Centre gave us useful info and pointers what to expect from the climb. He was cheerful enough to answer our questions politely.

I would like to mention that if it weren’t for our agent’s good intuition, we would have been clueless to even book a place at the guest house to stay for the night which is halfway up the mountain. It was very well organized and also gave information regarding accommodation. Our transportation were all arranged.

We initiated our actual hike on Sunday morning and the rest was simply magical. I highly recommend picking a trust-able tour agent to make your trip calculated, safe and worthwhile. I will definitely recommend friends to give these guys a try because they were courteous, honest and enthusiastic enough to inspire fellow hikers to appreciate the beauty of touring, climbing and hiking.

Regards,
Jay Clarkson
